The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it's alarmed with regard to the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial here number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the read more agency said.
